Arriving at the town of Ugarteche, we take the rode of Los Cerrillos to cross the last dock of the Precordillera and into the Valle de Uco (Tupungato Department). Leaving the picturesque village of San José, we take the northwest along the Cordon del Plata and appreciating a landscape that contrasts the fertile valleys ofLa Carrerawith the majestic mountains. At the foot of CerroLa Plata(6,100 meters), we find the traditional EstanciaLa Alejandra(1900 m).Reception at the inn, staff introduction and breakfast.Introduction of the horses and saddling. Ascent by winding paths appreciating the herds of horses under the imposing Cordón del Plata.
